Bloggers - Meet Millions of Bloggers

Bloggiesta To Do List

Well, the first of the mini-challenges, so here goes nothing.  The challenge is to make a to do list.  I know that this will be an ongoing list, but also feel that it is necessary to help make this blog a better place.

1. Find out why my pages/posts are not indexed on Google

I talked about this in my prior post and it is a real priority and concern.  Page rank is really not all that important to me but I do want these to show up when there is a Google search done so hopefully I can figure this out.

2. Post reviews on a more consistent basis

I do read a lot of books, unfortunately my reviews do fall by the wayside sometimes.  That is a big no-no for me and is something I am going to work very hard to remedy

3. Link the reviews to the tab at the top of the page

4. Go through the challenges I am signed up for and see where I stand

I LOVE challenges…am a challenge junky actually.  But, I am very bad about updating here as well.  Family and work get in the way, but in order to make this blog what I want it to be this is necessary.

5. Find a design that REALLY works for my site, and stick to it.

I have really struggled to find a design that I really think fits my site.  Hopefully I can remedy this in the future and can leave it be.  I say hopefully because I haven’t found it yet and it has been over a year.  Any suggestions of places that are reasonable would be appreciated.

6. Clean up widgets and plugins to help the blog run more smoothly

7. I would LOVE to get a logo and/or button for my blog so I am working on this.  Just don’t know where to start

8. A Favicon, will check into this as well

9. Be better about linking to content that I write about

10. Add my blog url to my email signature

This is really a no brainer.

Well, this is a pretty short list, but I am sure I will be adding to it.  It will take me awhile to get this done but at least I have a starting point.
