Bloggers - Meet Millions of Bloggers

Book Blogger Hop – July 9

I am a huge fan of the Book Blogger Hop – haven’t been there?  It’s ok, it’s never too late to start.   Meet other book lovers just like you and check out some really awesome sites!

Something new that was added recently is a question to help you get to know your fellow book bloggers.

This week’s question:  Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites.

This question is always tough for me.  Why?  My tastes vary and to be able to pick a true favorite is always hard.  My standard answer is Stephen King and I guess he would really be my favorite.  Even though many classify him as a horror writer, his writing spans so many different genres (at times, obviously his heart belongs in horror).  But, look at “The Green Mile”.  Not horror at all.  And short stories such as “Stand by Me” and “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption”.  Even “Pet Sematary” isn’t really horror (at least not to me).  Obviously it’s creepy that he is burying his loved ones hoping they come back but my heart breaks for him as I am reading it.  But, throw in “It” and ” ‘Salem’s Lot” and now we are talking horror.  So, that is my answer, take it for what it’s worth.

Head over to Crazy For Books to join, here is the info:

In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on!

This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!  It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed!  So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted on the site!!

The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don’t have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun!  This is a weekly event!  And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added!  We get nearly 200 links every week!!

Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.

Happy Friday and Happy Reading!
