Blogging from A to Z Challenge – I

Today for the Blogging from A to Z Challenge I decided to write about one of my favorite desserts…ice cream.  I know that most people will have the dispute about which is better, chocolate or vanilla (I’m more of a chocolate girl myself) but I wanted to talk about our favorite ice cream place, at least when it comes to chains (our all time favorite is Beernsten’s in Manitowoc, which is an old time candy shop).  Years ago we were in Green Bay and saw an ice cream shop we had never heard of.  Which one you ask?

The first time I had their sweet cream ice cream it really made me reconsider my chocolate over vanilla theory. But, the love of chocolate is just a little too strong.  Going there as a family is always fun because I am such a creature of habit and always order Peanut Butter Cup Perfection…well, almost always.  Thankfully my family is much more adventurous than I am and I get to try all of their other yummy creations!  If you haven’t had the chance to try their ice cream I highly recommend it – how they get the flavor burst in some of them I would love to know!
