Musing Mondays June 11
By admin, on June 11th, 2012

This week’s musing asks…
What is the longest book you have ever read? How long did it take you to read it?
At 1472 pages, The Stand by Stephen King is the longest book I have ever read…and I would read it again, that’s how much I loved it! I’d have to really think about another book that even comes close but it would probably be the books in the Outlander series which I loved as well!

Oh yes, Mr. King again!
maybe why I never red his books. 1500 pages? Really?
I had to look it up because I wasn't sure exactly how many pages – it is buried here in my stacks of books. Yep, it's a dandy, lol!
King, absolutely. I also loved this book

I love Stephen King. I forgot about other long books when I was writing my answer, all that came to mind were the King books.
I am reading this right now as a part of a read along. It is the first King novel for me. I had been meaning to read one for ages. I agree, it is a terrific book. I did have a hard time settling into the book though. There are a lot of characters. Once I got my mind wrapped around all of them though, it developed nicely.
