The Interview

Could you please tell us a little about your book?

It is a comprehensive search for every verve or cluster of verve in the New Testament of the Bible that tells us how we might gain eternal life with my commentary on each verse. It tells us how we can know the Bible is true and how we can know hat we will find eternal life if we seek it.

Did something specific happen to get you to write this book?

I wanted to know for sure how I might gain eternal life and I wanted to know for sure how I could know the things my denomination was telling me about how to gain an eternal life was true.

Who or what is the inspiration behind this book?

Once I fully understood how powerful and simple was the Bible way to eternal life, I wanted to share my findings with others in an interesting and provocative way, knowing that if the reader genuinely sought God, for whatever reason, he would find him.

Who is your biggest supporter?

Oddly enough, initially, a newspaper editor, whom I did not regard as especially spiritual (although I may have been wrong about that), who agreed to publish any findings, verse by verse, week by week.

Your biggest critic?

Probably organized religion because in not every instance do the verses lead me to the same conclusions that denominational doctrine prenotes – although I made it a point never to mention a denomination, it is clear to me that some are a toe closer to the truth than others.

What Must I Do to Be SavedABOUT WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12

Our search for the pathway to eternal life has taken us now to the Gospel of John. If a person has limited time in which to search the Bible for verses which tell us how we might gain eternal life, there are probably no better books to search than John and Romans.
We receive Jesus when we “believe”, as this verse tells us. What we “believe” is what Jesus, as recorded in the Bible, tells us about Himself and what He did for us. Jesus came to earth from heaven, where He had lived and will live for eternity, to suffer and die on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sins. Revelation 1:5,8,18.
