My Review
This is the first novel that I have read by Kfir, and I can’t read some more of his work. Not only was the story itself appealing, the writing and character development was excellent.
This novel is about a young Italian man named Roberto. Roberto has issues and will do whatever it takes to keep his secrets hidden. When he is young, he develops feeling towards a young girl. They are young and nothing transpires, but when they are teens their paths cross again, and this time things are different. They begin a relationship but he ends up getting in trouble and is sent away – abruptly ending his relationship, at least for the time being.
Angry at his parents for sending him away he continues on at boarding school. But, when his parents and brother are killed in an accident after a visit with him, he only has his uncle left. Was it really an accident, or is there more to the story than meets the eye? What secrets is Roberto keeping, and exactly how far will he go to see they remain hidden?
An intriguing story that will leave you turning the pages to find out more, I loved this book!
